Home Sweet Home

Rawl Road, Lexington South Carolina

Well I am sure that we will be moving before we can catch our breath from all of the planning, decision making and packing that lies ahead of us in the next 7 months.
Our Goal started about 5 years ago knowing we wanted to move to Lexington, still close to wades family but much closer to wades work and the school district we had hoped to send our kids to. 4 years ago in september we bought an acre lot. We wish it was 10 acres but that didn't fit the budget! We Broke ground on our future home November 30, 2010! Estimated completition time is to be July 2011 ! Many say that building a house is like most pregnancies, excited at first, then miserable and ready for the whole thing to be over and left wondering what did you get yourself into! Ha Ha, well I loved being pregnant and it was never long enough and we often wonder what we ever did before kids, so I hope this process is like our pregnancies!!

The one and only lonely tree, I am grateful for it because We didn't think there would be any. We will have our work cut out for us when it comes to landscaping, but i can guarantee no gum ball or sycamore trees!!!!

Ashley making her snow angel, its always the first thing she does when she gets out in the snow. Drops and makes one!!

THe making of the snow man, how many kids small and big does it require to make a 3 1/2 ft snow many!! LOL

The snow man, bigger than we thought was possible

I am grateful the snow only comes around every once in awhile, it is more appreciated, but a nice reminder why I live in the south BRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr!

Santa came and left a majority of his load at our house!! Tyler had only asked for a spiderman bicylcle and a spiderman helmet.... which he got along with a pretty cool neo track race car track.....lots of boy like toys and a leapster.
Ashley asked for a hello kitty bike and a Doll house for her Barbies. She was blessed with both also and a leapster. All toys were a hit! WE were able to Skype Meme, Papa and Aunt Jodi to see them and all their snow Christmas morning.
After a lazy morning at home we had Jon, Joan and Emily visit to see what santa had brought for the kids and then we headed off to Nana's for Dinner.

We were pleasently surprised of Uncle Steven and Tracy's Engagement! Congrats!!
We had a nice time at nana's playing and doing what we all do best.... Eating.
Thank you for all of our family and friends that made this weekend a great

What a fun age!! I can't imagine christmas being any more fun, but I am sure I will be happily surprised again!! We started off our Christmas celebrating weekend with having everyone over for dinner Christmas eve, then a beautiful candle light/communion church service to bring the true meaning of Christmas to the top of the list! THank You God for allowing your son Jesus to be our Saviour!! After a wonderful dinner, church service and a drink with family , we tucked our little ones into bed after Daddy read Twas the night before christmas.
Christmas!
