Easter 2009

It is impossible to get a family photo these days, in which everyone is looking at the camera and not making a weird face, squinting at the sun or standing crazy... but that is life a constant challenge enjoying the moment!!!

We wanted to be able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine we had this past weekend, so we had a small easter egg hunt for the little tikes. They really enjoyed it! We also had a beautiful Easter sunday,spent with family and a few friends to also celebrate Tyler's second birthday! Meme & Papa were able to come all the way from Pennsylvania too! I can not believe my baby is two! He is so precious and a thrill to our lives! I can not imagine life without him. He has the best giggle and the most outrageous facial expressions, he idolizes his sister and is definetely a mamma's boy. We love you! Happy Birthday! ( please excuse my typos, i'm sleepy and never claimed to be a good speller!!)

Chip & Abby's Wedding

We were lucky enough to attend Chip and Abby's wedding 2 weekends ago in southern california. It was a beautiful ceremony and we are so glad we were a part of their special day. After the wedding they showed us a few of the beaches of southern cal. we loved lauguna beach!

February Fun!

Jackson turns 2!

Tyler is my little monkey, he is not afraid to climb anything!

Nanny turns 84! Ashley sang happy birthday to her and gave her roses, she was very tickled! I am so glad that the kids have Nanny and Grandaddy ( Great) to visit!

Ok Tyler will kill me someday for this, but Ashley wanted to dress him in her pj's and he thought it was funny! I did too, however daddy didn't think it was so funny....Guess you had to be there Dad!

Ashley's first hair cut. She was 3 years old and 2 months. It was starting to look really unkept so time for a trim, she was excited......

We went to hair doodles, the specialize in kids they did a great job at making it fun!

She got her nails painted

and when i wasn't looking ( i was off chasing Tyler...) she got lipstick on! ( along with animal cookies on the face too!)

New Life sunday school class

Wade and I have been a part of the new life sunday school class for almost 2 years now. It has definetly helped Wade and I learn a lot about ourselves and our faith. We have so much more to learn. We are so blessed that this Class is there for us. We are like an extended family. We have the most dedicated and enthusiastic teacher! We just had a two part series that She wanted to have pictures taken for so that we could all have proof that we participated in the basics of Christian Conversion and Discipleship. Here is a class photo. We are a perfect size group!

Winter fun!

We just returned from visiting Meme & Papa and the whole northern family! It was very very cold. It reminded me why i moved much more south! Snow clothes are crazy, it took us 15- 30 mins. to get dressed and after 30 mins outside everyone was cold and ready to come in for another 15 mins of shedding clothes!! CRAZY! I love flip flops and shorts!! Did i mention it was cold! anyways we did bundle up and have a great time and it was great to see the fam.
